Wallace & Smith Contractors was founded by H.R. Wallace and Earl O. Smith in 1950. Bart A. Wallace and George R. “Bob” Smith, the next generation, acquired the company in 1983 and continued the same construction services with many of the original employees. Paul Cooper joined the firm in 1989 and is now our company President running Operations. The Company has advanced its presence and abilities with every project, gaining recognition for full service quality construction, with an emphasis on partnerships and lasting relationships. Our Company specializes in commercial, industrial, institutional, agricultural, and aerospace building construction throughout California. Over the years we have acquired expertise in many types of construction including design-build, wood-framed, concrete tilt-up, masonry, steel framed, and pre-engineered steel. Any goal is attainable as long as the pre-planning is implemented, coupled with clear and consistent collaboration with all parties involved. Whether the client's needs are for shell buildings or turnkey PLC controlled factories, Wallace & Smith has the proven resources and expertise to deliver.
